University of Georgia graduate and rising public relations professional joins Cookerly team
ATLANTA – August 2018 – Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing agency, welcomed Madeline McGinty as a fall intern.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Madeline has a degree in public relations and a minor in French. She recently completed a post-graduate internship where she gained knowledge across a range of public relations disciplines. She is now expanding her skills at Cookerly working on research and writing projects, media relations, social media and more.
“We are thrilled to welcome Maddie and impressed with her enthusiasm and previous exposure to the industry,” said Jane Stout, EVP. “Our internship program enables young professionals to gain hands-on experience by joining our account teams and learning about strategic public relations in action.”
In addition to her interests in communications, Madeline is always looking forward to finding her next favorite brunch spot or a new bookstore to browse. A native of Baton Rouge, she has a knack for scoping out the best shrimp and grits in any metro area and knows a thing or two about good hot sauce.
